Tim’s Boston team held on to edge out Minnesota on Thursday after blowing a three-run lead in the later innings. Minnesota was downtrodden the whole game after falling behind 2-0 in the first inning after Duncan’s two-run home run. After falling further behind 3-0, Minnesota battled back with three home runs of their own and came within one swing of tying the game.<\/p>\n

“We knew they’d battle back,” said Tim. “We were just hoping to hold on, and fortunately we had enough pichers left in the bullpen to finish them off.” Boston was fortunate enough to score two insurance runs in the top of the ninth, both of which were needed to fend off Minnesota and their two ninth inning runs.<\/p>\n
